Leonard George Wall was born in Whyte, Yarcowie, South Australia in November 1888 and went to Whyte Public School, South Australia. After his education he became a shoesmith for horses. He enlisted in the AIF in July 2016 and embarked on 18 Nov 1915 for Egypt for training. After that he was sent to France to fight and sadly died on the 20 of July 1916 in France in the battle of Fromelles.
