Peter Langborne
Peter Langborne was my uncle. He was my mother's only brother. Peter was good to me as an uncle. After WW11 he married Dawn Langborne (nee Mulcahy) and they had three children, Gaynor, Annette & Kerry. I was a flower girl at their wedding. The marriage did not last and Peter later married Margaret Langborne (nee Bell). Peter spent his retirement at South West Rocks in NSW, with Margaret. He was an extremely proficient amateur fisherman and he loved the sport. Peter first enrolled as an Air Force Cadet at the age of sixteen and then enlisted on the exact day of his eighteenth birthday. My uncle was a good man and I am extremely proud of him to this day.
