Anthony Robert SPURWAY-SMITH was born in Tarleton, Tasmania on 29th March, 1926
His fathers name is unknown & his mother was Aileen Eloise SPURWAY
He served during WW2 with the RAAF & was discharged as medically unfit on 13th July, 1945 (Leading Aircraftman) 6 Recruiting Centre
In 1948 he worked as a horsebreaker in the Buddy Williams Wild West Show
He died in Launceston on 28th September, 1990 and is buried in the Conara Christ Church Anglican Cemetery (Union Chapel)
