Brother of Robert Thomas Haase who was killed in action on 11 April 1917 while serving with the 46th Battalion and has no known grave, his name appears on Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Shirley Dinwiddie Haase, Colin Hermann Haase, Margaret Mona Haase, Lorna May Haase and Emily Gretchen Haase
