Add my storyBiography contributed by Vanessa Campbell
Darcy was an avid fisherman, gardener and handiman. Devoted husband to Judith and father to Wayne and Peter. Great-grandfather to Vanessa, Aaron, Jessica and Timothy.
Nothing bought him more pleasure than being on his row boat, on the river with his son Wayne, fishing for Australian Bass. He would then come home and a feast would be served that included potatoes and corn from his own garden.
He was a great tinker, and was always fixing something on a car or around the house. His Toyota Landcruiser was his pride and joy. He kept that car running for decades using the tools in his shed and his own know how. It's no suprise he was a mechanic during WWII.
