Leading Aircraftman Clifford James Robson (Service No:151132) enlisted in the RAAF as an Aircraftman 1 (mustered as an Electrical Fitter) on 3 January 1944 and was promoted to LAC on 16 July 1945. LAC Robson served in the South West Pacific and Japan (22 September 1945 - 18 August 1946) and was attached to 33 Squadron (T) at Discharge on 20 August 1946.

Born in 1925 in Gympie QLD, Cliff was the eldest of three children of James Francis Robson (b1896 in Kilcoy, QLD) and Mary Ann Naylor (b1902 in Gympie, QLD). James (a Carpenter) and Mary married in 1924 in Gympie, QLD - James had served in WWI (Private; Service No:3620). In the 1930s James and Mary moved to Ayr, QLD where they raised their family and James was a Carpenter.

Cliff worked as a Cordial Factory Hand,  Grocer's Assistant and Builder's Labourer in Ayr before enlisting in the RAAF. Following his Discharge in 1946, Cliff returned to Ayr and was working as a Shop Assistant in 1949 when he married Laurine Matthews (b1922 in Charters Towers, QLD). Cliff and Laurine settled in Ayr where Cliff worked as a Shop Assistant. Cliff died in 1974 and Laurine in 2006.
