Lowered his age when enlisting. Full name Harold James St. George Quinan but served as Harold Quinan

Son of James McRobert Quinan and Mary Ann Quinan of Old South Head Road, Waverley, NSW

During 1899 Harold married Adelaide E. Comber in Sydney, NSW but at the timeof enlisted he claimed he was single, mother was given as next of kin.

Commenced return to Australia on 23 May 1917 aboard HT Ayrshire disembarked 11 July 1917 at Melbourne for onward travel to Sydney

Medals: 1914-1915 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal

During 1918c Harold married Daisy Lilian Buasten  Burney in Sydney, NSW
