World War 2 Service

10 Nov 1940: Enlisted Royal Australian Air Force, Warrant Officer, 400887
25 Aug 1942: Imprisoned Libya/North Africa, Army records show. On 11.08.1942.Had to bail out of Wellington Bomber after plane unable to maintain height. After the crew walked 120 miles in 14 days ended up as POW's of the Italians, then handed over to the Germans ended up in Stalag 344. Released on 17.04.1945 by US Army from Dulag Luft Germany.
