Flt Lieut. Ross is the only son of Mr and Mrs John Ross, of "Kanimbla," Holbrook. He has been discharged after serving nearly five years with the RAAF. He crossed the Pacific as a Catalina ferry flight pilot no fewer than 10 times and spent some time instructing in the far north of Australia
