Great Uncle Arthur, also served in England, as a volunteer for 7 + 1/2 years in Gloucester Royal Engineers. Married Alice Mary Powel; July 1905 • Cheltenham, Gloucestershire; Moved to Fremantle in early 1900's; then joined Australia in WWI. Then had 4 children: 1: Frances.M Waite (1906-): 2: Arthur Geoffrey Waite
1910–1945: 3: David Edward Waite: 1918–1990: and 4th= Margaret Alice Waite
1922–1997: His 2 sons went on to also serve. He tragically lost his son in a air crash accident in the War. They have many relatives /pioneers in Western Australia.
