Add my storyBiography contributed by Robert Johnson
When Allen "Blue" Bagshaw and Francis "Blue" Burt joined No. 10 Squadron at Plymouth in 1941, both had the nickname "Blue". When they flew in the same Sunderland Flying Boat crew, pilot Francis Burt had his nickname changed to "Red".
"Red's" claim to fame is that he was knighted and became the 11th Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Western Australia. "Blue's" claim to fame was that he played cricket for the RAAF against England at Lords and WAFL footbal for Perth.
