Frank had previous Military Service before he enlisted in WW1. He had spent 2 years with the Lighthorse 29th Regiment. He was wounded in action at Gallipoli and was suffering from shock and Rheumatism when it was decided he would be returned to Australia for change of area. He never returned to the War....
