RIDDELL.-In loving memory of our dear son and brother, Private A. H.Trevor (Pete), died of wounds in Third Canadian G. H., France, on 13th August, 1918.
We miss you, for we loved you.
As memories we recall,
Parting with you, dear Trevor, was the saddest day of all.
-(Inserted by his sorrowing parents and brothers, Shepparton.)
RIDDELL.- In honoured memory of my brave, unselfish brother, Alfred Hugh Trevor Riddell (Peter), late 57th Battalion, A.I.F., died of wounds in 2nd Canadian General Hospital, France, 13th August, 1918.
O, dove of peace, bring back the link
That was taken from our chain,
Bring back my brother "who went to fight,"
To his sweet home again.
In our home he is fondly remembered,
Sweet memories cling around his name,
The hearts that hold him in deepest affection
Still love him in death just the same.
