Charles Allan Broughton PHIPPEN was born in Newtown, Sydney on 18th February, 1916
His parents were Charles Percival PHIPPEN & Jessie Isabel HUNT
He married Mary Elizabeth BRUCE on 10th July, 1943 in Sydney
He had previously served for 3 years in the 55th Infantry Battalion from 1939 to 1942 before enlisting with the RAAF on 6th April, 1942 & was discharged on 10th January, 1946
Charles died on 11th August, 1986 in Sydney - late of Punchbowl (Woronora Memorial Park)
