Leading Aircraftman Colin Norman Auer (Service No:170920) served in the RAAF from 20 October 1944 to 25 September 1945 and was attached to 7 Wireless Unit at Discharge.
Born in 1926 in Bundaberg QLD, Colin was the eldest of five children of Norman Edgar Auer (b1900 at Fairymead, QLD) and Mabel Fanny Collins (b1901 in Bundaberg, QLD). Norman (a Carpenter) and Mabel married in 1925 in Bundaberg, QLD where they settled and raised their family and Norman was a Carpenter.
Colin returned to Bundaberg and worked as a Carpenter following his Discharge. He died in 2006.
