Son of Edward Robert Henry Osborn and Isabella Osborn nee Barber of Mysia, Victoria.
Brother of Stephen Osborn who was killed in action on 8 May 1915 while serving with the 6th Battalion and has no known grave. His name appears on the Helles Memorial, Cape Helles, Gallipoli.
