Medals
I do not know Mr Young but I have two of his war service medals. They came tome via a deceased estate. Both have the identification marks for Mr Young on the rim. They are his Service medal (1939-1945) and his War Medal (1939-1945).
My fore fathers were in both wars and my grandfather served at Gallipoli in WW1 and my father served in the AIF in WW11. I am extremely proud of their service and I am sure the family of Mr Young are equally proud. I would love to be able to return these medal to the family. Hopefully this story will reach someone who can help.
