Norman was the husband of Mrs. Hazelwood, of Cremorne, New South Wales, Australia.

An Electrician with the Australian Merchant Navy, S.S. Tulagi (Hong Kong).

Casualty of War: The Tulagi was hit by two torpedoes fired by the German submarine U-532. and sank in less than a minute, on her starboard side, stern first.

Cause of Death: Presumed drowned at sea due to enemy action. His remains were unable to be recovered.
