Married Arthur William UPFIELD in Cairo, Egypt (he became a famous author).  Anne resigned her appointment due to marriage and remained in England.  They had one son James Arthur UPFIELD born in England in 1920 - he was a private in the Australian Army WW2.  Her husband left her for the final time in 1945.
