Private Robert Keith Dean (Service No:V351635) served in the ACMF with 9th Battalion VDC (Vic) from 7 January 1942 to 20 September 1945.
Born in Hamilton, Victoria in 1914, Keith was the youngest of two children of Robert Dean (b1888 in Kirkstall, Victoria) and Ellen (Nell) McMahon (b1890 in Coleraine, Victoria). Robert was a Carpenter in 1911 when he and Nell married in Hamilton, Victoria where they settled and raised their family and Robert worked as a Carpenter.
Keith worked as a Carpenter in Hamilton, Victoria where, in 1939 he married Olga Mibus (b1916 in Hamilton, Victoria). Keith and Olga settled in Hamilton where they raised their family and Keith was a Carpenter. Following retirement in the early 1990's, Keith and Olga moved to Calliope via Gladstone, QLD where Keith died in 1998. Olga died in 2009.
