Son of William and Kate LYDON, Irymple, Victoria
HAVE MERCY UPON HIM LORD AND LET PERPETUAL LIGHT SHINE UPON HIM
LATE PTE. W. V. l.YDON.
Mrs. W. Lydon, of Irymple, has received the sad intimation that her only son Private William V. Lydon, was killed while fighting in France on the 13th May. He was little more than a lad, and is the third of the local high school boys who has made the supreme sacrifice on behalf of home and of Empire. Great sympathy is felt for Mrs. l.ydon and for the two sorrowing sister's of the young soldier.
