'ROLL OF HONOUR.
NEWMAN.— In loving memory of a dear son and brother, Private George Kenneth Newman, accidentally killed in France, 28th August, 1917.
We often sit and think of you,
And think of how you died.
With no one near who loved you, dear,
Before you closed your eyes.
Inserted by his loving father, sisters, and brothers.' from The Telegraph 28 Aug 1918 (nla.gov.au)
