Commenced return to Australia on 30 April 1919 aboard HT Karagola disembarking on 12 June 1919

During 1920c Percy married Doris Henrietta Luke in Victoria from whom he later separated then remarrying to an Elizabeth Ada Sophia Williams and Gwendoline Mary Howard, possibly in NZ

In 1956 Percy was residing in Linton Street Palmerston North, NZ. A letter from that address said he had been residing in NZ for about 22 years
