8 May 1918 - Wounded in action,shrapnel wound to left forearm. Off duty for 4 months.

12 June 1919 - Returned to Australia on board Port Darwin

Medals: British War Medal, Victory Medal

6 August 1921 - Married Grace Irene Stone in the Christian Chapel, Stirling East SA

At the time of death he was reisding at Stepney, SA
