Private Terrence Frederick Wensley (Service No:V401086) served in the ACMF with 9th Battalion (Vic) VDC from 26 August 1943 to 20 September 1945. His siblings - Eric and Thelma - served in WWII, and father Albert served in WWI.

Born in Hamilton, Victoria in 1924, Terry was third of four children of Albert William Wensley (b1898 in Balmoral, Victoria) and Evangeline Johnson (b1901 in Balmoral, Victoria). Albert served in WWI (Private; Service No:6667) and returned to Strathkellar following his Discharge. He was working as a Farm Labourer in 1920 when he and Evangeline married at Telangatuk, and later that year Albert was granted land at Henley Park via Hamilton. Albert and Evangeline settled at Henley Park where they raised theirf maily and Albert was a Farmer. 

Terry worked for his father at Henley Park as a Farm Labourer, and following WII worked as a Farmer with his father. Later in life he married Estelle (b1920) - Estelle died in 2011 and Terry in 2012.
