Private Edwin Lee (Service No:V382077) served in the ACMF with 7th Battalion (Vic) VDC from 2 June 1942 to 24 September 1945. Sons Norman and Alan served with the RAAF.

Born in Nhill, Victoria in 1888, Eddie was the only child of Joseph Lee (b1864 in Somerset, England) and Julia (Bella) Isabella Bartlett (b1866 in South Rhine, South Australia). Joseph arrived in Sydney, NSW in 1884, a Sailor on board the Garonne and was a Farmer in 1887 when he and Bella married in Horsham, Victoria. Following Joseph's death in 1888, Bella remarried.

Eddie was a Farmer in Horsham, and in 1919 in Jeparit, Victoria married Ruby Ethel Laing (b1892 in Jeparit, Victoria) - Ruby was a Dressmaker in Jeparit. Eddie and Ruby lived in Nhill, Horsham and Lismore where they raised their family and Eddie was a Farmer/Grazier. Ruby died in 1971 and Eddie in 1981.
