George and his wife Lucy, whom he married in 1916, with their 3 children migrated to Australia on the P&O ship Benalla, leaving London England on 19 August 1926 and arrived in Fremantle on 29 September 1926.
George served with British Army in WW1 earning a Meritorious Service Medal for service in France.
George and his wife had two daughters from the marriage as well as son Kenneth.
