ARMSTRONG, William Alec.— Suddenly, on 7th Sept., 1949, at his daughter's residence, 73 Pitt Road North, Curl Curl (late Boer War veteran and 7th  Garrison Btn.), beloved husband of the late Agnes Armstrong and loving father of Aimee (Mrs. A. Openshaw), Fanny (Mrs. C. Dundon), Bessie (dec.),  Elcie (Mrs. A. Fyfe) and Thomas, and father-in-law of Albert, Christian, Alfred and Olive, aged 71 years.
