Mr John Worner stated to the State Recruitment Committee on the 26th August 1918, when offering his 3rd son for active service abroad, l have offered two sons already, 1 killed the other a returned man discharged severely wounded ( after two years service abroad.)
Mr John Worner would suffer the loss of two sons & the third wounded during the Great War.
