GNR. WILLIAM HULL. Art., Vic, while acting Regt. DR in Crete on May 21. was cut off by parachute troops while attempting to draw urgent medical supplies from general
hospital. Machlncgunned and dive bombed, he sought refuge behind enemy for 3 hours, and later ran gauntlet of parachute troops, bring ing supplies to safety. - The Argus (Melbourne, Vic. : 1848 - 1957), p. 3.
