Frederick Ladbury BAMFORD was born in Glebe, Sydney in 1886
His parents were Frederick Ladbury BAMFORD & Emma OAKE who married in England in 1877 (registered in Birmingham)
He married Lillian Louise ARCHER in Perth, Western Australia in 1913 - 3 known children, Frederick, Percy & Evelyn
Frederick died of pneumonia & cardiac failure in the No. 8 Australian Base Hospital in Fremantle, Western Australia on 3rd November, 1916

His brother Charles Edwin BAMFORD (SN 5558) also served during WW1 in the 28th Infantry Battalion and was killed in action on 3rd May, 1917
