She married Alexander Hersey TAIT on 15 February 1916, Egypt.

Mackie, D.D., of St. Andrew's Church (Presbyterian), Alexander Hersey Tait, of Victoria, to Lily Harriette (Nurse) Shepherd, youngest daughter of H. and F. Shepherd, of Kilkenny, South Australia.
