Brother of Robert Benjamin David Voyer who returned to Australia on 6 August 1915 having served with the 16th Battalion and William Voyer who returned to Australia late 1917 having served with the 48th Battalion.

Husband of Violet Muriel Voyer nee Degner of Normanby Place, West Richmond, Victoria. Charles and Violet married during 1912c in Victoria.
