Biography contributed

Queens College Cambridge and joined the University Squadron ( C Squadron ) 1st King Edwards Horse 1910.

Commissioned 2nd Lieutenant in Royal Field Artillery December 1914.

France 19 September 1915 RFA.

Served in France and Salonica.

Attained the rank of Temp Captain and was Adjutant of 117th Brigade, R.F.A, for twelve months.

Mentioned in Despatches.

Caulfield Grammar School.

Attended Queens College Cambridge 1910 - 1913.

He was discharged in 1919 and travelled home to Sydney to be ordained.

Served as a curate in the parish of St.John's Parramatta from 1919 to 1923, St.Luke's Concord 1923 - 1925, St.Andrew's Strathfield 1925 - 1932.

Appointed Rector of St.Paul's Wahroonga 1932 - 1954.
