Son of Septimus Harry ADAMS and Sarah Jane nee LONG, of "Nellrose," Dunmore St., Croydon Park, New South Wales, Australia.

ADAMS.—Died at sea, March 1, 1918, Frederick Thomas Adams, aged 28 years, steward of H.M.S. Calgarian, beloved eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Adams, of Hyston, Edinburgh- road, Marrickville, after nearly 4 years on active service.

Rest, beloved one, awhile.
Till Christ shall bid thee rise,
And soon, as from refreshing sleep,
Thou'lt wake in glad surprise.

ADAMS.—Died at sea, March 1, 1918, Frederick Thomas Adams, aged 28 years, steward of H.M.S. Calgarian, dearly loved brother of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Pearson, and uncle of  Russell, Iris, and Neville. He died as he lived, nobly.
