A gloom was cast over this district when news came that Pte. Allan Bartlett had died while in France. Although his late home was Munro, he was well known
in this locality, and his parents, Mr and Mrs W. Bartlett, late of Munro and now residing at Lucknow, are well knewn also and they have the deepest sympathy of the residents of Delvine in their sad bereavemant. There are three other sons of the same family at the front.
