Served for 18 months in the Citizen Military Forces, Allora.

Victor Tickle passed away May 9th, 1943 during his 21st year as President of the Murgon RSL Sub-Branch. For the whole of that period he gave his services unstintingly in the cause of those who served in the Great War of 1914-18. During World War II he took an active part in local Patriotic activities and in 20th Bn. V.D.C.
