For noting - the younger brother of this soldier, named John August MARCON, enlisted using his (older) brother's name and birth details as he was under age.
John August MARCON aka Charles Thomas MARCON (SN V156394) did not embark for overseas service; deserted and was serving a six month prison sentence for "Larceny, Break-in, Steal" when he died.
