Son of James RUSSELL and Blanche RUSSELL nee RITCHIE, of Carngham, Victoria, Australia.
SON OF JAMES RUSSELL CARNGHAM VICTORIA AUSTRALIA
FOR THE EMPIRE.
Captain John Russell, of the Royal Field Artillery, son of Mrs Russell and the late Mr James Russell, of Carngham Estate, has been killed in action in France. Some months ago another of Mrs Russell's sons, Mr Robt. Russell, died in a training camp in England. Her eldest son, Captain Phillp Russell (formerly a member of the Riponshire Council), is on active service in France.
Great sympathy is felt for Mrs Russell and family in their bereavement.
