Son of John "Snowy" ALLINGHAM and Flora Beatrice ALLINGHAM nee LAMB, 'Maloja' Floss Street, Hurlstone Park, New South Wales.
Served in Royal Field Artillery 68th Brigade 10 Division in Salonica and Palestine. After the taking of Jerusalem he was sent to France, but almost immediately was invalided to England, suffering from Malaria, contracted in Struma Valley.
