Son of William and Eliza Jane WATCHORN nee MOORE, of Battery Point, Hobart, Tasmania. Also served in Egypt.
WATCHORN.—Killed in action in France, September 28. John Frederick, second son, of the late W. J. and E. J. Watchorn, Colville street, Battery Point, Hobart.
News has been received by Mrs. W.J. Watchorn, of Colville Street, Battery Point, Hobart, of the death of her son, John F. Watchorn. Private Watchorn left New Zealand with the 15th North Auckland Battalion in September 1915, and was mortally wounded in the battle of Pozieres, about September 17 last.
