Brisbane Telegraph 3 March 1919.
Mrs. Parminter, Lizmar, Wooloowin, has received information that her fourth son, Signaller John Ambrose Parminter, is expected to reach Melbourne in the transport Margha today. Her fifth son, Joseph P. Parminter, M.M. is still on active service, either in France or Germany. It will he remembered that the third son, Lionel, was killed in action on 5th April, 1918, at Dernancourt, where the Australians stopped the German rush for Paris. It is sadly interesting to note the father of these gallant young Queenslanders, Mr. George H. Parminter, died five years ago today.
