Son of Edward and Mary Elizabeth HENDERSON of Walnut Avenue, Mildura

HE GAVE HIS LIFE FOR HIS COUNTRY'S FREEDOM

Private A. E, Henderson (died of wounds at GAllipoli on 20th November) was the eldist son of Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Henderson, Mildura. He was only 17 years of age, but was of strong physique, and keen to take part in the war. On arrival in Egypt he was selected for a machine gun section, and showed much ability and enthusiasm at the instructional  school prior to departure for the front.
