Horace J Skinner
Horace came to Australia by ship with my grandfather Joe Allen when Joe was 14
they lived on the banks of the Brisbane river with the aboriginals until Joe met and married Elizabeth Patrick my grandmother they built a home at chapel hill and Horace moved with them and lived on my grandparents verandah until he passed away in November 1961. Horace gave me his bravery medal before he passed away I was 5 years old
