'My husband twice enlisted in the Great War - first as 'Frank Harris' stating his age two years older. He signed on in Sydney N.S.W. in 1915 after being gassed in France & somewhat recovered, he was returned to Sydney 1916 & signed off War Service in Sydney as medically better. His second enlistment was from Melbourne 1917, which particulars you no doubt hold.' (details from wife, August 1941)
