Son of Edward Robert Fox and Emily Fox of 192 London Road, Leicester, England

On 6 March 1916 Claude married Ethel Helen Cox in St Mathias Church, Brighton, Sussex, England. Vicar Rev. H.V. Robert Bromley officiated.

Commenced return to Australia on 6 September 1919 aboard HT Euripides as nursing staff disembarking at Sydney on the 24 October 1919

In April 1947 he was residing in Neutral Bay, NSW
