AUSTRALIA'S HEROES.
Word has been received from Base Records by Mr. F Sheehan of Hamilton that his brother, Private D. M. Sheehan, has been reported suffering from gas poisoning. Mrs. W. Outtram, of Digby, has been informed by Base Records that her eldest son, Private Eric McLean, who was reported missing from April 11 last is wounded and a prisoner of war in Germany. The nature of Private McLean's wounds is not stated.
Mr. and Mrs. T. Storer, of Carmichael-street, Hamilton, have been informed by Base Records that their son, Corporal O.T. Storer was admitted to the Frensham military hospital, Farnham, England, on June 13, suffering from a gunshot wound in the shoulder.
