Son of William Vary and Elizabeth Vary nee Bailey of Saltwater Creek Road, Maryborough, QLD.
Brother of Robert John Vary who returned to Australia on 31 December 1916 having served with the 47th Battalion
Following his discharge in London Kenneth was employed as an Australian Munitions Worker.
