"THE LATE CORPORAL A. O. RETCHFORD
Mr. J. Retchford of Holbrook-road, Underdale, has been notified that his youngest brother, Corporal Albert O. Retchford, was killed in action on January 20. Corporal Retchford was born at Hackney, and was wldely known and respected." - from the Adelaide Chronicle 17 Feb 1917 (nla.gov.au)
