Son of Joseph Vidura and Olga Vidura nee Bohisenar, Foesam, Roumania. 

At the time of naturalisation Carol was residing in Broad Street, Payneham, SA and was employed as a fitter's labourer and had previously been employed by the SA Government's Wheat Plant at Birkenhead, SA. Carol arrived from Antwerp, Belgium on 10 January 1914 aboard Afric disembarking as Fremantle, WA.

Commenced return to Australia on 6 June 1918 aboard HT Barambah disembarking on 31 July 1918 at Melbourne for onward travel to Adelaide.

On 27 April 1920 Carol married Evelyn May Wright in St Cyprians Church, North Adelaide, SA
